you know that hallway walk. the light under the door. the voice in your head that says if i open it i might not like what i find. that gut feeling is not you being dramatic. it is love with nowhere to put itself for a minute. you are not crazy for feeling it. you are a parent or a partner who is still showing up when it is hard. if this is your house tonight, drop one word below. scared. tired. still here. someone else needs to see they are not the only one.

I did drugs. Sure did. I was a junkie. That's a fact. But I also found recovery. Gossip about that. We do recover.

Everybody cheers when you get sober. Nobody warns you the real work starts the day the cheering stops. If the quiet is loud right now, you don't do this alone.

You don't go back fifty times if you don't want it. I went back more than fifty times. I wanted it every single time. What I didn't know was how to live. First try or your fiftieth, you're not too far gone. Come back.

Early sobriety is brutal. Anyone telling you different is lying. You do not go back fifty times if you do not want it. We recover together.

You do not go back fifty times if you do not want it. Wanting it and knowing how to live after are two different jobs. The second one is H.E.A.L. Helping Everyone Achieve Life.

They stayed when the lot was empty. Getting off the substance is the door. What gets built after is the house. Showing up changes everything. We recover together. H.E.A.L. (Helping Everyone Achieve Life) fightingaddictiontogether.com

If you're listening at a locked bathroom door right now, you're not crazy and you're not alone. Drop a ❤️ if you've been on either side. (AI narrated)

My family could tell how bad it was by how long the bathroom door stayed locked. I thought I was fooling everybody. I wasn't. If you're listening at that door right now, you're not crazy and you're not alone. We see you. Drop a ❤️ if you've been on either side. fightingaddictiontogether.com

Clean is not the same as free. I learned that after the tests were clean and my head still kept an exit plan. H.E.A.L. = Helping Everyone Achieve Life. Getting off it is the door. Living without the old solution is the house.

@AmericanAir is the worst airline I’ve ever flown, in my opinion. I usually stick with Delta or United, but over the past month, I’ve flown American seven times—each time in first class. Their customer service is by far the worst in the industry.
