BREAKING: Nigeria: A Christian mother, Liatu Samuel Dawa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the “crime” of evangelism. Liatu shared her faith with a woman in Borno State who later converted to Christianity. For that, Liatu is now behind bars and her family in hiding after Muslims threatened their lives. The judge, A.B. Kumdila, imposed the harsh sentence. This ruling is a gross miscarriage of justice. The disgraceful action must be overturned and Liatu immediately returned safely to her family. We will recycle the waste product from the incinerators as building materials. We will provide free, qualitative education for all children of Lagos Taxpayers', to university level. We will provide free, accessible and comprehensive Healthcare to children and the elderly, initially, whilst drastically reducing the overall cost of healthcare to everyone else. We will provide a minimum of 100,000 high quality, yet affordable homes in four years to Lagosians, with LOW INTEREST mortgages. We will reduce the Average Commute Time (the amount of time spent in traffic), by at least 50% within our first 18 months in traffic, whilst simultaneously reducing the cost of public transport. Make a conscious, strategic decision today, to invest in a future where you will no longer struggle to feed yourself, much less your family. Vote for a future where you can start achieving your dreams, hopes and aspirations, and begin to realistically dream bigger dreams. Vote for a future where you and your children are much safer and much more secure in ANY part of Lagos State, because we will provide much better welfare for all security agents working in Lagos State, starting from much better residential accomodation, to better working facilities and conditions, to much better welfare. The day I realised there was a difference between relocation and japa was when I went to church one Sunday and a lady walked up to me saying she had just relocated and that it was her first service in church. I welcomed her, and we sat beside each other. After the service, we walked towards her place. We didn’t go inside, but we talked for a while. I asked her if she had started looking for a job because of school fees. She said, “No o, I’m still resting. Maybe after like six months, I’ll start looking for something easy. something I can do from home.” Me: Six months? 🤷🏽‍♀️ I remembered how I hadn’t even landed in the UK and my friends were already looking for jobs for me. Meanwhile, somebody was planning to rest for six months before even thinking about work. Then she explained that she wasn’t under any pressure. Her school fees had already been paid, her rent for six months had been sorted, and she was actually starting to miss her family. She said she might even travel back in two weeks. Me: “Wait… when did you say you came again?” Her: “Two months ago.” Me: 😥😥😥 I became speechless straight . This one no escape oh. She actually relocated. Na people like us dey japa. Some people relocate. There’s a difference. 😭

I stopped being lazy, I woke up, got dressed, carried my CV and went to look for job at the factories in my area. After getting declined (no vacancy) at 4 factories. I got a job at the sixth one has a security guard 😭. I have been laughing since I got home 😭. Me olode 💔😭.

Today is my 49th birthday. 🎂❤️ I type this from the hospital lobby, waiting for the doors to open so I can go feed my Dad breakfast. 😂 Not exactly how I planned to spend my birthday. My eyes are tired for lack of adequate sleep, but I am most grateful for life, health and vitality. At 32, I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy by a cardiologist. He told me my heart had been severely damaged by the heart disease I developed during a pregnancy complicated by preeclampsia. He told me I wouldn't live to see 40. Today, I am 49. 🙏🏽 That journey through heart disease built my faith in God. It also led me to discover my purpose and birth my business, Fit Nutrition. Through that journey, I've had the privilege of helping many clients and customers take better care of their bodies and pursue better health. I went from taking more than 7 tablets every day to taking zero today. At 49, I have never felt more alive. My story has taught me that a medical diagnosis does not have to be the end of the story. God has the final say. I may not be celebrating this birthday the way I planned, but I am deeply grateful for the many blessings God has given me. Happy birthday to me. 🥂❤️ If you will, say a prayer for me and my Dad today. Jesus is Lord! 🙏🏽

During my NYSC, this Christian sister I didn't like very much called me and said she got a revelation. She said she was in a dream and she saw people gathered. She walked closer to see what was happening and it was a funeral. To her surprise, it was my funeral. She said her dreams always come to pass. She told me to please go and pray. Usually, I don't take things like that seriously but there was something about someone I don't even relate well with telling about something like this that made me take her serious. I told every member of my family, my parents and siblings, and asked them to pray for me. This was on a Sunday. They next week, on a Friday, I was returning from work. The okada I was on stopped and was waiting for a trailer that was a bit far away to pass so he could cross to the other side of the road, or so i thought. Suddenly as the trailer got close to us, this okada man entered the road! Gaskiya, i thought we were gone. I don't know what happened or how it happened but we were thrown into a partition at the other side of the road with very minor injuries. Till date, i believe the enemy planned that my life would end that day but God sent a warning. Thank God I took it seriously. They say things happen in the spiritual before they ever happen in the physical. It was that day I believed it.
