This peony is blooming for the first time in at least a decade ❤️ It was moved around, put in shade, and just generally sidelined while home & yard improvements were done, and I’m honestly surprised it survived let alone flowered again!

I don’t often see proof that “it’s so hard to get a library job.” BUT we’re hiring for a PT non-benefitted position, received 73 applications & have people calling to find out the status. those we’ve interviewed are super thankful & excited. They are mostly pursuing an MLS.

I counted 327 blooming lady slippers over about 2 miles of a hike ❤️ For a number of years I saw few/none & have worried about their decline. Last year felt I saw more, then this!

I feel this. Just this week we had a patron ask “where are the books that came out today?” …um, mostly on hold for people or checked out already. It wasn’t even on Tuesday (the day most books are published/released). 😕
