@Ben_Dowsett @Anzures801 I think anything plugged in HDMI 3 or 4 uses native 120hz. You need to enable enhanced HDMI in settings and use a HDMI cord that supports 2.1. I believe the 144hz is limited to gaming. (120hz is what most things are optimized to)

@Ben_Dowsett @Anzures801 I own the equivalent model of two years ago and have been very, very pleased with it. My main TV is a 77" LG OLED that cost more than I would like to admit. For general streaming and sports I honestly don't have a preference between the two! Hisense does get brighter!
@Ben_Dowsett @Anzures801 This is a great TV and is better than the similar price range of the big boys. One thing to be aware of with Samsung (and I love Samsung) is they don't support Dolby Vision. Only HDR10. Not a huge deal for some, but it will give you a slightly better experience when used.

Like I said, I still like to consult Consumer Reports before buying electronics, and it’s been a few years since I bought my v solid(!) Samsung.
@Ben_Dowsett For me, Samsung’s combo of Sony-lvl performance (both observed in friends/fam’s homes) at not-Sony-lvl price did it for me. I did consult Consumer Reports before purchasing, to confirm the specs and model were legitimately a good value and learn/compare a bit more. CR confirmed.

@Ben_Dowsett I think the QLED looks really crisp and mine has lasted a decade. Super easy to connect any device and switch between them. Just seems like the processing side of the apps/menu/device connectivity is really strong.
