VK could have got that extra 10-15 runs if he would have continued like Shreyas and beyond. Making him play like Pant or SKY, you are not getting a dasher nor the finisher of yore.

This can happen when you change his batting style. Can't expect him to play like a Pant or SKY. He should play like Kohli which has won us so many T20 matches. And in a team of hitters, you need someone to hold the innings together. Recovering from 2-3 wkts down in pp isn't easy.

Except for Hardik, others can't bat and Hardik does not bowl regularly. And since our batting is looking so vulnerable, we will need a few bowlers who can bat. Hence there has to be place for 2 out of Ashwin, Jaddu, Axar and Shardul.

Aus is through & SA is almost there. Assuming WI will win vs Pak and NZ & Eng win their remaining ones vs Pak & BD then WI & Eng/NZ (depending on who wins tomorrow) will end with 8 points. India has to win their last 2 matches vs BD & SA to reach 8 points & stay ahead on NRR.
