He's right tbf, the reason Shai works so well within a team context is we have a ton of connective playmakers too so it takes some pressure off him in that regard Not the level of playmaker where you can just use him in a Luka/Harden type way

@FearTheBrown Presti is great at his job but part of what allows him to be so great is he will never get fired so he can make moves that are VERY long term oriented and not have to worry about the owner firing him before it comes to fruition. At least 25 GM’s don’t have this luxury.

Fully agree with this while it’s definitely valid to look at injury history if it is overwhelmingly bad, I personally don’t factor it in because I’m not qualified to analyze someone’s injury history and predict the long term effects of it on their future playing career
Injuries are overblown because of unpredictability. You don’t know what/when injuries will occur, how frequently they may happen, or how a player’s body will react to various treatment and recovery plans, it’s why I really don’t factor injury risk into 95% of my evals
