Been w therapist for like 5 years. Lately I don’t feel like it’s helping or like I’m not making any advancements or learning anything and it’s mostly just me talking/ being upset when we meet about life & the world What are u supposed to do? Say so? Switch people? I like her 😭

@LivinOnBorder_ The combo makes it very confusing. Never sure what’s real or if I’m being hyper self aware or if it’s the negative self talk of BPD playing tricks on me 😩 I think most of us deal w that in some way

@splitposting Dad alcoholic, mom classic enabler / treated me like a therapist when he turned on her, but wouldn’t accept or stand up for me when he did it to me. I was as young as 4 or 5 the first time I remember her crying to me about him.

@nobody_stop_me If women didn’t start talking about their traumas in public I don’t think we’d have ever gotten to the point of mass interest in the fact that 1 in 3 American women will be sexually assaulted. Lucky you for not being one of them!
