Clint Eastwood looked at his son and basically told him: you are not riding my coattails. While modern Hollywood is full of entitled kids expecting fame on a silver platter, Clint made Scott fight for his own. He gave him zero financial handouts. Scott actually worked under his mother’s maiden name, Scott Reeves for years just to prove he could get cast on his own merit. Clint even made his own son audition for his movies, and flat-out rejected him for a role in American Sniper. He didn't start using the Eastwood name until he had genuinely earned it. That is how you raise a man.
