@CBCHamilton It is very common for officers NOT to live where they work for obvious reasons. And Who cares?
@CBCHamilton Property taxes in Hamilton are sky high. I’m not surprised.
@CBCHamilton @CBCHamilton nice negative shot at the @HamiltonPolice Men and Women serving a committee the best way they can. Why not follow up with how many other municipal employee's Firefighters, HSR drivers, EMS, City of Hamilton employees resident with the city of #HamOnt.
@CBCHamilton If they have over 800 officers , why can 1 never co.e out to help. When help is needed
@CBCHamilton Why is this news? It’s none of our business where they live. These are all committed officers servicing the community and risking their live for us on every shift. That’s all that counts.
@CBCHamilton In the "old" days police lived in the communities they worked. They had vested interests in those neighborhoods they resided building strong relationships of mutual trust between them and the people they served there - critical to maintaining public safety and effective policing.
@CBCHamilton I work in Hamilton and there is no way I’d want to live there. High taxes, high insurance, gross downtown.
@CBCHamilton How can they? The money they are paid they couldn’t afford a decent home here.
