After waiting another 15 mins I get to an agent. It’s now roughly 7:40. This is where the horrible service really starts @AmericanAir. Phyllis clearly was not pleased to have me, as I load my first bag, she already states that is going to $70.
Then was in this @AmericanAir line to self check my 2 bags. After waiting in this line for roughly 10 mins, I was sent back to the other line because my luggage was so big. If you are tracking time, it’s now roughly 7:25. My flight leaves at 8:55 and gate closes at 8:40.
When I got to #DCA - at 7:15, the lines were insane. I looked at the lines and signs. And waited in this @AmericanAir line because I had 2 big bags to check in. After waiting 10 mins, I was told that this was the line for international travel and got sent to another line.
But my journey this morning started at 6am - when I woke up for my 9am flight out of DCA. I thought I was good to arrive around 7:15 for my domestic flight to Memphis. Even left early enough to get a @McDonalds breakfast.
Now there were some amazing @americanair employees that did their best to compensate for the terrible ones. But all in all - this is my hollow promise that I’m never flying with AA. I status with @UnitedAirlines_ and this is what I get for cheating on them.
Yup. I downloaded @Twitter just to bitch about the awful customer service that I had today with @AmericanAir. 1/?
@oiselle 4 years later and out of the 20 pieces I looked at - only 1 has a plus size option.
