@swolecialism @Florian93721335 ...yeah, but because literally like 70% of the people guillotined were rebels from the vendée and brittany fighting in the name of, like, "the catholic and royal army"

@_m0uth @NotABigJerk tbf the best deal in any sport is probably gcn+, which is every road cycling world tour race, and most of the 2 levels below that, plus some documentaries and mountain biking and stuff for $40 a year. but then you have to watch cycling.

@dumbandawful a rotten tomatoes 90% means that 90% of reviews were a 6/10 or higher, not that the average was 9/10. it doesn't reward the best movies, it rewards decent movies that appeal to a large audience. I'd only use it for movie nights with extended family, etc.

@whodeySC @Phil_Lewis_ this doesn't necessarily use GPS, even. even with location services turned off, it's possible to use the strength of the connection to nearby cell towers to triangulate your location

@Kiluuuns @AshKabosu what are the odds! around Philly we call a totally different thing "water ice", and that name confuses people from elsewhere, too

@DontReeOnMe @mysticmilk22 @SearcherRyan @OldMemeArchive its entirely legit, and doesn't have anything to do with windows. the IME is a tiny computer baked into all Intel CPUs in the last 10 years or so that runs its own OS, with memory access. you can only get rid of it on certain old processors with firmware projects like libreboot
