@brenkav the lady was merely tasked with investigating a complaint through an official channel, she had no choice, she was doing her job. The problem is upstream of her. That an easily falsifiable complaint would make it that far in the process is the problem.

@MrGlobal2025 It's ironic, they hate socialism so much they want to move on directly to government control over the means of production, which is (check notes), textbook communism. (Except I'm not sure they're too keen on textbooks either)

@emptywheel As a member of the the low surface tension community, I take personal umbrage at his characterization.

@joshtpm Mitch McConnell disappears from the Senate for a few months, comes back a few months later as a Vegi-Tales character throwing peace signs to the camera... but he's just fine!

@mattyglesias I live in the Leg district just to the North, so I get the media from this race. This is a pink district - home to Linda Smith, Jamie H Beutler and Joe Kent. JGP as good as you going get for this seat. Braun is heavily culture war sh*t in his ads, he's a terrible human being.

@lemanadead @LoinDuTribu Both Wstrn Kenya and the Central Ethiopian highlands feature high plateaus not shared by neighboring countries. The OP's dot map roughly delineate those regions. I just like maps, so I claim no explicit expertise of East African geology or LD running culture beyond that.

@LoinDuTribu Just overlay a topo map over of Kenya and Ethiopia and note that the runners are coming out of the mountainous high plateaus in both countries. People who can train at +2500m tend to do well when they show up at sea level races.

@robpetrozzo I get same effect with a small, 2800K LED cob bulb. Probably runs at about 2 watts.

@ETBrowning01 @LucasSa56947288 You're conflating "theraputics" for "prophylaxis" - and really, that's just scratching the surface of what you're missing.

@kennedy_su57048 @ziegler2u Don't know if this is a real quote or not, but a Catholic Cardinal defending a pedophile fits their oeuvre.

@KINGGGE_ As an ex-IT guy, with many deep dives into infosec incidents/procedures/policies, sending an email under a coworkers login would be viewed as a very serious breach.

@dayyspast @GOLDBABYO The meter didn't lie. Kudos to the homeowner for figuring out the cryptic post-meter diversion of his water line, but it's not the water dept's job to do deep dive on every homeowner who has an anomalous water bill. No company, public or private, does that.

@ReformedSooner @ChristianHeiens A ascetic kills himself 300+ yrs before the accepted birth of Jesus..and we're supposed to connect the dots between the two of them? Doesn't track.

@MaryAbrahams @PopularLiberal McCrae has to be my favorite republican voter fraudster. Welcome aboard! Can't wait to see what he does next (once he's out of prison, that is.)
