We're baaaack! Sorry for our absence-it's been a crazy year! Hope everyone has a great week!
DDS:"When was ur last px?" Pt:"oh I quit doin that cause I'm afraid my teeth will fall out"😂😜 #cantmakethisstuffup @DHYGlife @dthyproblems
Don't u just love pts like this..on phone/iPad the entire appt. #rude #seriously #dentalhygieneproblems #wow
Well-I guess it really does take 21 days..er times to make a habit. I prob told a pt 21 times 2 open wide! #howhardisit #dhproblems
Seemed like all the pts today got 2gether & decided 2 go on strike against opening wide...if I can't c-we're all n trouble. #dhproblems
I just love pts w/ 3rd molar ext on tx plan but don't follow thru-they can't reach them. I can't reach them. #dentalhygieneproblems #ugh
Last thing I would do if I was sick is come to the dentist! 2 pts already this morn. #really? #why? #commonsense #seriously? @dthyproblems
I guess keeping ur tongue away from the suction is rocket science after all. @dthyproblems @DHdisasters @DHYGlife #newsflash #dentalhygiene
#petpeeve: pt shows up late for appt-then wants 2 hurry & get out quick b/c they have 2 b somewhere. #consideration @DHYGlife @dthyproblems
Sometimes I think pts think the dental office is #starbucks, #mcdonalds or #burgerking. They want to specify and nitpick everything! #overit
Dear pt: why do u insist on making a duck face or fish lips when I'm trying to rinse?!? @DHYGlife @dthyproblems @DHdisasters #ugh #DHprobs
Dear pt: please don't move the mirror, suction or instrument out of the way w/ur tongue-it makes it very difficult. @dthyproblems @DHYGlife
I hate strong tongues, lips and cheeks. That is all. @DHYGlife @dthyproblems @DHdisasters #dentalhygieneproblems #ugh #annoying #overit
Love it when u ask a pt to open wide but u can barely see & later they yawn wider than they claimed they could. @DHYGlife @dthyproblems
It's not ok. Really. @DHYGlife @dthyproblems @DHdisasters
Pt: "I've been sick, but u will b wearing a mask & gloves so ur ok"😳 😷Really?! Thanks for sharing. @DHYGlife @dthyproblems @DHdisasters
What a way to start out the day..full mouth scaling pt on Halcion that won't get numb on the upper 😳😩 @DHYGlife @dthyproblems @DHdisasters
FEMALE PATIENT: "Don't put any metal fillings in." (At least that's what I think she said. Her metal tongue stud makes her lisp).
Pt: I've got something on the root of my mouth. Hyg: You mean the roof of your mouth?😂@DHYGlife @dthyproblems @DHdisasters @dental_problems
