A guy described his tooth aches every time he walks..... 🤔 (I'm listening, go on) "It's like an impaction pain, when my heel hits the ground my tooth aches. Is that weird?" A little, yeah 🤷
I'm THAT hygienist that discloses everyone under 16 yrs old & will make you go brush with a manual toothbrush if there is heavy plaque
You may notice hygienists always ask patients what they do for a living..... We're looking for a way out 😝

Pet peeve alert Don't stand at the counter & complete your new patient paperwork Esp you people who like to make comments about each question... Do you like the shape of your teeth? Uh what a weird question, why would ask that? Bc some people don't like the shape of their teeth!
The only people who turn down their "goodie bag" are the ones that need to use it the most 🙄 #
I ask my dds for hyg exams with one-liner post it notes. For example... " Holy mother stain!! I need an exam please" or "sorry I faked laughed at his joke before the punchline, hyg exam rm #1, thanks" I like to prepare her before she enters the op 😉
Me as I walk out the door every morning.... I've got my phone, yep. Got pants on? Yep. Should be able to make it through the day the 🤷
