@ImCollegeSoccer They can care about your kid and your kid can struggle with the level and also their role on the team. Both can happen

If you listen to Cain, he will tell you that righteous Abel was the problem. If you listen to Potiphar’s wife, she will tell you that righteous Joseph was the wicked man. If you listen to Pharaoh, he will tell you that Moses was an enemy of the state. If you listen to Saul, he will tell you that loyal David was a traitor. If you listen to Haman, he will convince you that Mordecai was a dangerous enemy. If you listen to Ahab and Jezebel, they will tell you that Elijah, the prophet of God, was the troublemaker. If you listen to the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, they will tell you that the sinless Jesus was a blasphemer. If you listen to Judas Iscariot, he will find a way to justify betrayal. If you listen to Pontius Pilate, he will wash his hands while Truth stands directly in front of him. And if you listen to the world, do not be surprised when it calls righteousness evil and evil good. My friends, listen carefully: a lie does NOT become Truth simply because it is repeated loudly, confidently, or by powerful people. Be careful what you hear. Be careful whom you believe. Be careful whom you follow. Test everything by the Word of God. The world may condemn you for standing for Biblical Truth but the only verdict that ultimately matters is His!!! Stand firm. Stand faithful. And above all, listen to Jesus.

I know Noah’s Ark is real because the Bible says it is. That’s enough evidence for me. I don’t need any physical evidence.

Bad Players-Don’t take much seriously. Average Players-Take games seriously. Good Players-Take practice & games seriously. Great Players-Take grades, nutrition, warm-up drills, individual work, weights, conditioning, film study, practice, games, & recovery seriously. #CSTruth

There is no "hall pass" in the Bible. Be faithful to your spouse 100%, without exception.

This is going to be so good. @PhilipAMitchell and @howertonjosh are the best pastors in America at calling young men to be the real men God called them to be. Can’t wait for this.

“The most important person they’ll ever have in their life is a coach that holds them accountable on a daily basis. Teaches them work ethic, sacrifice, teamwork,” Dan Hurley Great coaches develop your character and prepare you for life.

As a coach, don’t just recruit the most talented athletes. Recruit talented athletes who also have great character, toughness, and leadership.

Deion Sanders is 100% justified in kicking “a few guys” off the team for laughing after Colorado lost 41-7 to Northwestern. We’ve all had that one teammate that pissed us off laughing after a loss. If it don’t mean something to you, then why are you there? Losing is not funny.

🚨 UNCOMMITTED 2027s - PAY ATTENTION 🚨 It’s September. You are no longer in the “I’ll figure it out later” stage of recruiting. You need a PLAN. • Stop chasing only your dream schools. • Expand your list — D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO. • Be realistic about your current level. • Email coaches consistently with UPDATED film and information. • Attend the right showcases and ID camps. • Make sure your grades are where they need to be. • Follow up when coaches show interest. • Start visiting schools you are seriously considering. • Be willing to consider opportunities you may not have considered a year ago. Most importantly: STOP WAITING FOR A COLLEGE COACH TO SAVE YOU. The recruiting process is your responsibility. And remember, an opportunity doesn’t have to come from the school you originally dreamed about to be the right opportunity. Be flexible. Be persistent. Be realistic. Your recruiting process isn’t over. But your margin for error is getting smaller. #CSTruth

I think about the thief on the cross a lot. No baptism. No church membership. No years of faithful service. Just a dying man who turned his head and believed. And Jesus said today you will be with me in paradise. That is the most scandalous grace in the entire Bible. And it is available to every single person reading this right now.

Success at work means very little if your kids won't call you when they need advice.

Los Angeles Chargers DC Chris O’Leary wrote Psalm 139:15 on his play sheet during their preseason game vs San Francisco 👏 “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14 (HT @Ken_FiveSolas)

They killed Jesus because He claimed to be the Messiah. He rose from the dead because HE IS.

Imprudent vs Impotent When you play to win and you lose you may feel imprudent. When you play not to lose and you lose you feel impotent. That fear came from the coach. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 #TOVO #intelligentfootball

Dear US soccer: the world keeps giving us the roadmap to compete and we keep ignoring it. Combine MLS/USL into 3 tiers promo/relegation and every club starts an academy. It’s really not that hard but we will continue our stupid system and get the same results #usmnt

🚨 Patrice Evra on Folarin Balogun’s red card during USA vs Bosnia and Herzegovina compared to Lionel Messi’s challenge against Algeria: 🗣️ “This is exactly why people are losing faith in VAR. One incident is punished with the harshest decision possible, another similar incident is brushed aside. Explain to me how that makes sense.” “I watched the Balogun challenge and immediately thought about the Messi incident against Algeria. Football fans are not blind. They remember these moments, and they compare them.” “What frustrates me isn’t just the red card—it’s the lack of consistency. If you’re going to be strict, then be strict with everyone. If you’re going to let the game flow, then let it flow for everyone.” “The USA have every reason to feel hard done by. You’re playing a World Cup knockout match, you lose a player, and people are left wondering why the same standard wasn’t applied elsewhere.” “You cannot build trust in VAR if supporters leave every big game arguing about different decisions. The technology should remove doubt, not create even more controversy.” “People keep saying the laws are the same for everyone, but nights like this make that very difficult to believe. The biggest stars should never receive different treatment from everyone else.” “If football wants credibility, then every challenge has to be judged the same way, whether it’s Balogun, Messi or any other player on the pitch. That’s the only standard fans will ever accept.”

@BoBrack Love could be a difference maker at RB. I would be happy with Simpson, but Love who who I really want them to draft
