I don't allow TVs, iPads, or screen time during the week unless it's educational. I force my kids to read every single day; even after school, it's homework, then they find something to read or vocabulary words. People think it's excessive and that I should allow them to be kids.

I swapped my early morning gym session for studying and completing assignments, and I am discovering that morning studying helps me to better absorb and remember the material.
