💳 Tether is backing the infrastructure for AI agents to move money. @Tether led Mural’s $15M Series A, bringing its total funding to $28M. Mural connects payments, accounts and compliance across banking networks and blockchains. Businesses can set transaction limits, restrict counterparties and require extra approvals. The funding is confirmed. It does not establish how widely autonomous payments are being used. Even the autonomous economy needs someone to approve the expense. #Tether #AIAgents #Payments #CWC

🔒 Zcash developers have picked a target block for NU7, an upgrade designed to cut block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds. The planned activation is block 3,543,405, expected around Nov. 5 if the specification and node software are finalized. Three confirmations could fall from nearly four minutes to about 75 seconds. ZEC rose about 11% after the upgrade date was set, but the proposal still needs final integration before mainnet activation. There is also a hard deadline: the original Sprout privacy pool will be disabled, leaving funds there unspendable after activation. Three times faster is great. Accidentally leaving funds in a deprecated pool is a very expensive way to save time. #Zcash #ZEC #Privacy #Blockchain #CWC #CMCSA x.com/Zcash/status/2…

3/3 Existing programs do not receive an automatic grandfather clause. The rulebook is live. The footnotes are still loading.

2/3 That leaves a key distinction under scrutiny: Issuer-paid yield may be restricted, while exchange or platform rewards could be assessed differently depending on structure and funding.

⚖️ The U.S. OCC has issued its first final rule implementing the GENIUS Act, and stablecoin rewards are now under a sharper lens. The rule says existing rewards programs do not automatically pass muster just because they existed before the law. The agency did not spell out exactly which models cross the line. That matters for programs such as rewards attached to stablecoin use or holdings. The regulation is real, but the enforcement boundary is still incomplete. The data is insufficient to say which products will change first. For now, the yield debate has upgraded from marketing copy to legal interpretation. Crypto found a way to make “free yield” sound like a compliance workflow. #Stablecoins #USDC #PYUSD #CryptoRegulation #CWC #CMCSA x.com/USOCC/status/2…

@solana 3/3 Do not panic if transaction counts fall after activation. A meaningful part of the old count was validator voting. The cleaner metric is user activity and settlement reliability, not a louder dashboard.

@solana 2/3 Why does it matter? Faster finality means deposits, payments and trades can feel closer to centralized-exchange UX. It also lowers vote-fee pressure for validators.

⚡ Solana’s biggest network overhaul since 2020 is going live with a 150ms finality target. @solana’s Alpenglow moves validator voting off-chain, aiming to cut finality from roughly six seconds to 150 milliseconds. Validator vote costs are also expected to fall by about 60%. The number is promising, but real-world mainnet performance still has to prove it after multiple testnet restarts and an earlier rollback. One catch: Solana’s reported transaction count may fall because validator votes will no longer be counted on-chain. Less noise is not less usage. Fast chains love a benchmark. Markets love a stress test. #SOLana #SOL #Blockchain #CryptoInfrastructure #CWC #CMCSA x.com/solana/status/…

₿ U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged $526.6M in net inflows on Monday, their strongest day in nearly a month. @BlackRock’s IBIT brought in $665.2M, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw $83.6M leave and Grayscale’s GBTC lost $54.9M. The rest of the field was flat. The inflow erased last week’s $228.5M of withdrawals, but the group remains about $90.5M net negative for October. The data supports renewed demand, but it was demand with one very large name tag. The ETF party showed up. 💶 France just voted to make crypto-to-stablecoin swaps potentially taxable at 31.4%. Amendment I-3898 passed 38 to 37, with 25 abstentions. If it survives the remaining budget process, gains on swaps into MiCA-defined e-money tokens could become taxable from Jan. 1, 2027. This is not law yet. The proposal can still be amended or removed, and no market reaction data shows how users would respond. A stablecoin used to be a parking spot. @CFTC 2/2 This is not a new rulebook yet. But when the regulator begins mapping the terrain, it is usually because the traffic is already coming.

@CFTC 1/2 The forum will examine how machine intelligence changes derivatives markets, including price discovery, risk management and the use of AI agents by traders.

🤖 The CFTC is putting AI agents on the derivatives agenda. On Oct. 28, the @CFTC Innovation Task Force will hold its first Frontier Forum, covering how AI could affect price discovery, risk management and agent-driven trading. This is a discussion event, not a new rule proposal. The available data does not yet show new compliance requirements, but regulators are clearly preparing for bots that can trade before humans finish refreshing the dashboard. The agent can trade 24/7. The compliance calendar still has office hours. #AI #AIAgents #CryptoRegulation #Derivatives #CFTC #CWC #CMCSA x.com/CFTC/status/21…

@CMEGroup 2/2 That classification decides more than terminology. It shapes which venues can list U.S. perps and how quickly regulated competitors can challenge offshore dominance.

@CMEGroup 1/2 Perps have no expiry date and usually use leverage. CME argues they should be treated as swaps, while the CFTC’s current approach treats them as futures on a case-by-case basis.

⚖️ The CFTC just pushed back on CME’s challenge to U.S. crypto perpetual futures. The agency says @CMEGroup has not shown that its policy is causing actual or imminent harm, noting CME’s crypto-futures volumes have risen since the policy shift. The CFTC approved the first U.S. bitcoin perp in May and says it will assess these products case by case. This is not a final ruling on how perps must be regulated. The legal data is still incomplete, but the market could keep growing while the court decides. America wants regulated perps. The lawyers are still deciding whose rulebook gets the cover page. #CryptoRegulation #PerpetualFutures #CFTC #Derivatives #Bitcoin #CWC #CMCSA
