Great step from claude code to introduce a Visual studio code plugin. There were many like me who would prefer to work in Visual studio for some tasks. However the jump in model performance from 4 to 4.5 does not seem significant.

The thing i like about Codex is that it tries to reuse the code and stays within the bounds. While Claude code tries to import a new lib every chance it gets. For example claude introduced bun in my application even though there was no need. Codex reverted it to npm 😂

An underrated technique while working with claude code is to restart the claude code after every feature is completed and start from a clean slate. I have better performance this way then /clear command.
