RTD should calculate how much was contributed by the just the NW area and only offer that much back. Maybe then they’d realize their minuscule contribution to the project. And realize their own insanity of “we’ve been paying for this” vs the actual costs. But doubtful.

Paratransit alone (very valuable and necessary), would not exist if RTD (or any transit agency) were to operate as a “business.” (Nor would the FTA allow any such discontinuation). Not a single US transit agency is profitable.
