Ruben Amorim got a lot wrong. But he worked Manchester United out in a matter of days. And look where we are now, exactly where he said we’d be. #MUFC inews.co.uk/sport/ruben-am…

There is nothing wrong with Old Trafford, why not just make some improvements to that? But, instead you want to build a brand new £2B stadium just to generate more money for the Glazer family, to raise valuation of the club, raising revenues so the cancerous owners can take more from the club. I think focusing on making both the Women's, and Men's teams as strong as possible should be the main objective, not building a new stadium. I would also love yo know where the money is coming from to fund this new stadium, when the club is swimming in over £1B debt, and still paying add-on payments for transfers made years ago? That's not including the fact the club are unable of backing their manager in the transfer markets! I believe there are far more important things that we as a club should be more focused on, and I believe the priorities are all wrong if I am perfectly honest. The club is a mess, and it stems from those Glazers at the very top, made worse by handing over the day to day operations to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who in my opinion is NOT qualified to run a 'football club'. The days of Manchester United being one of the top football teams on the pitch are gone, the club is not serious about making us the best it can be on the pitch, and the mistakes, as well as the evidence over the years of incompetence, and negligence proves it. LOVE UNITED! ❤️ HATE GLAZER! 🔰 #MUFC 🔴

@Miniruks Ridiculous statement! Amorim came into United and wanted a certain way for them to play which was taking time but was heading in the right direction. Finished 15th because the main focus was the Europa League. Carrick must be beefing with the academy?

@Lionel_Lingard He’s not good enough, no club in Europe wanted him so he went to international management. But it won’t matter who is in charge the problem at the club is from the top. Glazers have the club rotten to the core

@yuraneediut @Lionel_Lingard I do know that a manager can manage club and international teams as Michael O’Neill done it recently. But United will not appoint a manager who’s doing international manager at the same time!

@ManUtd Sure yous won’t listen to fans anyway! How about asking the owners to put some of their own money back into the club to invest in the team? Also instead of wasting £64m on buying land for a stadium match going fans don’t want you could have bought some needed players for the team

@AdamJoseph You are an absolute clown! Amorim was building something, it wasn’t going to be a quick turnaround and certainly not with the inept Wilcox making the transfers! But United were on the right track but now we are back at square one! But keep throwing this bullshit out there!

It doesn’t matter who is linked with becoming Manchester United manager, because whatever the name (and most of those in circulation have previously already been ruled out), they are set up to fail. The parasitic Glazer ownership has bled and broken the club, putting a financial noose around it. In 2024, Sir Jim Ratcliffe talked a big game about a “three-year plan” to rival and outdo Manchester City and Liverpool. But the decision-making under INEOS’ charge of football operations has not just been woeful, but costly too. There is zero accountability for expensive mistake after expensive mistake. There is still no clear direction on club identity, including style of play, which leads to profiling the right signings and manager. That was a major promise made by Ratcliffe, which hasn’t been kept. To borrow his own words: “There have been a whole series of coaches, some of which were very good. And none of them were successful, or survived for very long. The only conclusion you can draw is that the environment in which they were working didn’t work.” It still doesn’t. It never will as long as the people who own and run the club betray Manchester United and what is required to be successful in the modern era. You can harp on about structure, vision, and sell fanciful projects, but you will never have the right operation with the wrong people.

Bruno comes out and question the tactics by Carrick, won’t be the glamour from everyone in the media to say he was wrong. Unlike a week ago and Martinez called out the biggest problem at Man Utd and he was wrong! Seems a lot of people in the media want to keep the Glazers/Jim in!

A reminder that this is all because the sporting director didn’t sign enough players 3 months ago

🗣️"Man United are a disgrace. It doesn't matter what formation they play, they don't run!" With Manchester United trailing 2-0 in the second half against Como, is time running out for the under-pressure Michael Carrick? #VMSport #UCL #ManchesterUnited

Brutal from United! Carrick does have to shoulder some of the blame but this has to fall at the feet of Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada! Wilcox has had a shocking summer, poor cheap signings and no backup left back and striker! If Carrick is sacked then so should Wilcox!

@JoshWilsonSB I’m for the Minnesota game next week, travelling from Ireland 🙈🙈. It’s going to be grim against that Vikings d next week!

@Hosang I think success on the pitch needs to be the priority before there is even talk of a new stadium. United have fallen miles away from their standard! And if Jim the 🐀 can’t see that he can fuck off with the Glazers as well! Wilcox needs to be sacked instantly this is his mess!

@TheFanaticView @mark_robinson_ We have found Jason Wilcox’s burner account! It’s about time someone in United came and call the board out. Everytime United make the champions league the transfer window is underwhelming. And this summer was no different! £50m wasted on Santos. Oh and £64m on land!

@UTD_Kachy Absolutely clueless! At least under Amorim, United outran opponents. Created chances as well. Amorim had been let down by the board with not getting a midfielder… under Amorim United had a structure and style of play. They were heading in the right direction!

@__scottsaunders Not enough funds yet they wasted £64m on building land for a new stadium which the fans don’t want. That could have been used to help get Lewis Hall 🤷‍♂️

@RobDawsonESPN How much has Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada paid you to put that narrative out there? It’s clear they messed up the summer transfers by paying £51m for Santos and buying Tielmans 5 years too late. Not buying a backup left back and striker! So don’t peddle that bullshit
