Dear Mr. @elonmusk, why do you never call for Putin to go? He's ruled Russia as a dictator for 26 years. Isn't that enough? You know, Putin thinks you are a fool. He thinks he has your number. Behind closed doors, they tell jokes about you. You do his bidding here -- calling for Zelenskyy to go -- and he doesn't even have to bribe you, like Schroeder or others. I am a huge admirer of your work when it comes to making things that improve our world. Huge! I find your judgments of Putin naive. But I know I might be "biased." He has killed some of my friends & colleagues. My guess is he hasn't killed any of your friends. Please spend some time in Kyiv. Meet some mothers whose kids were deliberately killed by Putin's drones. And then go to Moscow and try to meet some mothers whose kids were deliberately targeted by Ukrainian rockets and drones. You won't find any. Putin is slaughtering innocent civilians in Ukraine on purpose. Zelenskyy is not.

Imagine 1941, when German aircraft were bombing British cities, Europe was under the Nazi boot, and Churchill was desperately trying to save his country from Hitler's onslaught. And, of course, for the sake of the American economy, which should not have to suffer simply because some stubborn British people refuse to surrender. Now try to imagine what history textbooks would look like if Roosevelt had actually behaved this way. What if he had called Hitler a wonderful negotiating partner, demanded that Churchill surrender territory, and simultaneously tried to convince Americans that Germany needed to be allowed to make money because otherwise it would refuse to make peace? What if, instead of Lend-Lease, Britain had received an American ultimatum: stop bombing German factories because we need to lower prices before the elections? What would we say about such a president today? Would we call him a brilliant negotiator who was simply protecting his country's economic interests? Or would we say that, for his own benefit, he was helping the Nazi war machine while simultaneously depriving its intended victims of the means to defend themselves? Fortunately, history took a different path. Roosevelt secured the passage of the Lend-Lease Act, and the United States began providing massive assistance to the countries resisting Hitler even before America formally entered World War II. But today, watching Donald Trump's actions, I increasingly find myself wondering what Europe's fate would have been if a politician with the same attitude toward aggression, human lives, and personal profit had occupied the White House back then.

Moshkovich owns Rusagro, Russia's largest agricultural holding company. ‼️ Another interesting figure is Al-Waleed bin Talal Al Saud, who appears on the list of investors no fewer than three times, both personally and through his company, Kingdom Holding Company. This man continues his investment business in Russia and privately supports Hamas in its war against Israel. In his investments in Russia, he regularly cooperates with Rosneft, Lukoil, and Gazprom. ✅ Everyone was wondering how it was possible that Twitter (X) shares were falling, advertisers were terminating contracts, and nobody was doing anything. After all, this was causing direct financial damage to investors. But everyone overlooked the fact that the investors did not care about profits. US banks are, in fact, allowed to operate in Canada. Quite a few are even registered to do so. They choose not to run full consumer operations here because Canada requires them to follow the same laws as Canadian banks when it comes to things like consumer protections and sufficient reserves for fractional lending. Those regulations are why Canada has not had a bank go under in 30 years--a time span which has seen over 600 US banks enter some form of receivership.

Food for thought: Canada's 5 largest banks all widely operate in US with massive infrastructure here. They all have sport stadiums named after them. Not a single US bank is allowed to operate in Canada. Just stew on that one for a while.
