I'm not going to defend Ben Hochen, but I will defend my town. Hartlepool might not be the nicest place in the UK, but we do still try in our touristy areas. The Marina is quite nice and the Headland is older than people think. Just search YouTube for people who have been here.

This Tory mayor proudly declared he’ll have nothing to do with Rachel Reeves’ ‘tourist tax’ but it wasn’t the mega flex he thought it was thepoke.com/2025/11/26/tor…

Thanks to the dedication of developers and publishers, we are launching FreedomToBuy.games. To raise awareness on censorship in gaming, 13 games are now available for free for 48h as a part of stand for creative freedom and preservation. We believe that if a game is legal and responsibly made, players should be able to enjoy it today – and decades from now. It’s our statement: when games are delisted today because of discomfort, reviving them tomorrow becomes exponentially harder. Visit FreedomToBuy.games to learn more.

And yes, this is FUCKING HOT! Our houses are designed to keep heat IN. We are normally a cold and wet country, global warming is making our summers hotter and we don't do residential AC because its only needed for 4 weeks in the year.

That was a hell of a power cut in #Hartlepool like. I had 4 hours with no electricity and 3 with no phone signal of any kind.

I hate that whenever Android updates to the latest version, it forgets EVERYTHING it learnt about saving battery.

Edge Lighting for notifications *actually* working is nice, except you cant set type and colour by content keyword without Edge Lighting+, and the effects in there are a bit crap. Would it be that hard to either have the default inside + or have content keywords in the settings?

I can't be the only person who *hates* getting 900 emails from google telling you that someone has signed into you're account, when it was clearly you. And I say this as someone who has had their google account hacked (with 2FA active)

I want to buy a Bus. Not just any Bus, one of 3. Except I can't afford a Bus, especially 2 of what I'd want (Well, all 3, but 1 can be substituted). And I have no where to store it. And I have no clue how I would get it running and stuff. But yeah, I wanna buy a Bus.

Rejected proposals from Middlesbrough and Stockton too now. Either he has something planned and telling no one, or doesn't like usable public transport.
