Well I'm wrapping up tonight's study session early. I felt myself getting tired so instead of #coding along, I decided to watch the episode in its entirety to get an overview of it and then tomorrow I'll re-watch it and apply what I've learned. His #refactor videos are my fav! 💜

Omg I am so happy right now! I was able to connect to the database and bring everything into the application. That's not too bad for a #newbie! And what's even cooler is I paused the video before the course could explain how to do it! I think this is a good stopping point. 💜

OMG I just spent an hour trying to see why my PDO object wouldn't connect to the database and it kept saying some weird thing about missing files but I had the smart idea to switch the host from localhost to 127.0.0.1 and it worked! Thank you for that headache #php server 🤣

Not going to lie I would rather work form the terminal when dealing with MySQL versus having to use the GUI management tools. I literally spent two days last week trying to find the perfect management tool and trying to track down the documentation for them 🤣

Unpopular opinion but I love working with #MySql from the command line. I am no longer intimidated by #databases! Now that doesn't mean I'm a pro or anything, that just means I feel more comfortable then I've ever felt about them!
