Ursula Le Guin: “A child free from the guilt of ownership and the burden of economic competition will grow up with the will to do what needs doing and the capacity for joy in doing it. It is useless work that darkens the heart. 1/2

Important.. One of the lesser-known forms of the blockade in Gaza is "financial siege". As the war has halted all aspects of life and stripped people of their income sources, even the money meant to help is now under attack. More than 60% of business accounts in Bank of Palestine have been shut down over fears of funds reaching " H group." As they say And almost all of the personal accounts are alreadyyyy closed from the beginning. Personally, I worked tirelessly for over a year to raise enough money to help my family evacuate Gaza. Suddenly, my father's bank account was closed without explanation since 5 months . I opened my own “business” account to receive money from organizations I work for, and it got frozen after receiving just $3,000. Life in Gaza is more suffocating than you can imagine—not only under bombs, but through every tiny aspect of survival. Even breathing and simply existing have become daily battles.
