@ThatYuta I think that's a very normal process across all languages - they tend to get regularized, because that's easier to remember. Same reason why irregular verbs across languages are usually the most used ones.
@klicknicht @inkolore_ Seems like it has to be Solarpunk, but that hasn't had a big mainstream impact so far. Hope it's coming. I like that vision.
@MarioBrothBlog Maybe it's from japanese "ruiji", which sounds like Luigi and means "resemblance", which is also the origin of Luigi's name in Mario in general.
@ScriptingJapan A kind of etymology of some of the kanji. Sometimes I wonder about the reason why some radical is slightly different in one kanji over another or the stroke order is a tad unintuitive and I wonder how it came to be so.
@joners1899 I think you're heavy on the woodway. The other way around it becomes a shoe.
@ThatYuta I don't have much experience outside of Germany, but I think here is quite simple and effective: simple five digit postal code, followed by city name, street name and house number. Easy to remember and a unique identifier.
It used to be you could sleep soundly in the frog-infested marshes, but now you can't because of croak
The translation demo of the new gpt is impressive, but it's odd that people seem to think it would make learning languages obsolete. As though I only learn a language to transmit information, not to broaden my horizon or gain a deeper appreciation of art in the foreign language
@DB_Bahn l
