McInnes Masterclass: Use of James Penrice Derek McInnes needs to be given all the credit and praise for the Game-Plan in Rangers 3-0 win over Celtic. The change in formation to 3-5-2ish (3-3-4 at times) and use of James Penrice was a masterstroke with and without the ball: > Man for Man on Nygren in CM > Bravery at the Back Man for Man > Penrice in Transition Goes Wide from CM > Penrice & Gassama Movements in Possession It stopped Celtic being able to build effectively through lines and eventually started playing into the hands: > Fernandez Won Everything Against Hogh > Makhanya Got Better of Duran > Similar problems to LASK in Players on Edge of Box Dan Neil rightly MOTM but Derek McInnes deserves every bit of respect for this performance Next Sunday could be a very interesting tactical watch as Celtic will have an adjustment to counter that press.

Celtic supporters without tickets didn’t just “force entry” they stormed the turnstiles like a pack of animals determined to break in, and they succeeded. They muscled their way into our stadium with zero respect and even less restraint, and once inside, they went straight into full‑scale destruction mode. They wrecked the Broomloan Front like it was theirs to vandalise graffiti smeared everywhere with pro‑Republican slogans, disgusting taunts about the Ibrox disaster, and electronic advertising boards smashed to bits as if the place was some playground for their worst impulses. This wasn’t chaos by accident. It was malice, intent, and thuggery from people who forced their way in just so they could tear the place apart. They didn’t come to watch football ....they came to leave damage. This nonsense that Celtic supporters went on the pitch to "celebrate" is also rubbish as they ran on to goad Rangers supporters as is clear from the pictures below. Rangers warned the SFA exactly what would happen as Celtic supporters have a long, ugly history of chaos, and everyone knows it. And right on cue, their supporters are still being arrested for the thuggish carnage they caused in the Merchant City and Trongate, behaving like animals for the fifth year running after a title win. Yet somehow, every single time Celtic are involved, the Scottish football authorities suddenly turn into wide‑eyed amnesiacs acting like they’ve never seen this pattern before. Rangers spell it out in advance, the chaos unfolds exactly as predicted, and the SFA still pretend they’re shocked. Despite all that, Rangers were blackmailed by the SFA into handing over the exact ticket allocation Celtic demanded. Rangers spelled out in plain, unavoidable language what would happen. They laid out the pattern of Celtic supporters’ behaviour whenever large numbers are put in that stand. They predicted the disorder. They warned the authorities. And here’s the part that really shows the difference in standards: down south, the FA treats the Hillsborough tragedy with respect and seriousness. Up here? The SFA can’t even bring themselves to acknowledge never mind condemn the constant mocking of the Ibrox disaster from Celtic supporters. They don’t speak out, they don’t challenge it, they don’t even pretend to care and Celtic have never apologised for their supporters mocking the Ibrox disaster either!

4 separate handball incidents Connor Barron- • Gets the ball hit at him and accidentally hits his arm while his body is turned • The ref doesn’t see it • Nobody claims it and the game plays on • There’s another 2 phases of play, including Aberdeen TOUCHING the ball • VAR pull it all the way back to disallow the goal Lawrence Shankland- • Intentionally controls the ball with his arm • Hearts go up the park and score • Shankland barely celebrates and openly says “it’s a handball” about 5 times • VAR “check” it and allow the goal • Then Shankland celebrates it Gogic and Trusty handballs- • After getting a penalty vs Celtic for Sterling’s “handball” they set the bar that anything going on target, hand away from the body, accidental or not, it’s a penalty. Also the fact Dundee conceded a penalty for a handball offence with a pass going away from goal the same day 😂 The ONLY thing that’s the same in all these incidents is they benefit any team up against Rangers. Don’t care if we win games etc, the blatant cheating needs called out !!!!!

Joint statement from the Rangers Fan Advisory Board and the Rangers Supporters Association The Rangers Fan Advisory Board and the Rangers Supporters’ Association are deeply concerned with the handling of Sunday’s Old Firm game by Police Scotland, which we consider to have been wholly inadequate and which created unnecessary risks for our fans that should have been avoided. We are appalled that visiting supporters were allowed to storm the turnstiles before the match – not for the first time. Then, later, to invade the pitch in reaction to events on it, with little or no attempt made to stop it - also not for the first time. Our fans were also placed in danger before and after the match by a chronic lack of segregation on Helen Street. This failure in basic matchday planning contributed to heightened tensions around the stadium as opposition supporters were allowed to walk and gather freely in the area where Rangers fans had been asked to park. Police Scotland’s Greater Glasgow Chief Superintendent Emma Croft is marking her own homework when she describes her satisfaction with their matchday operation. More disturbing was the abhorrent mockery yet again of the Ibrox disaster, with the memory of our 66 desecrated by vile graffiti, the perpetrators emboldened to vandalise our stadium and its infrastructure with impunity. The failure of Police Scotland to act on Sunday and the failure of Scotland’s civic society to call out this repeated and shameful behaviour, from across our game, is a disgrace. It would not happen in Liverpool or Manchester. Collectively, we call on Rangers to take robust, decisive, and public action in defence of our club. The handling of this fixture, from ticketing and allocation decisions to policing arrangements, fell far below an acceptable standard and breached an expected duty of care. Our support cannot be expected to tolerate repeated failures that compromise safety and dignity. We will never apologise for protecting the wellbeing of Rangers fans and will continue to work with the club, ensuring there can be no repeat of the events we witnessed in the build-up and aftermath of Sunday’s fixture. @rangersfcsa

Have been told the Broomloan Stand has been "wrecked" today. Seats damaged, tiles ripped off walls, graffiti that is "beyond the pale". Stewards in hospital. Disabled access gates forced open by Celtic fans before kick-off.
