Small Ginger Girl @Smallgingergirl

I wish my nan had asked for my consent before she hugged and kissed me. I nearly swallowed her false teeth once.

He’s from India on a students visa , gets a job as a MSP on £100,000 plus expenses, his flat , heating and phone are paid from the public purse , and he is now making laws to implement higher taxes and regulations. Think about that this winter when you can’t afford heat or food

I can’t believe some fkn idiot has community noted this post … I’m actually choking with laughter

Working people in Britain can't afford to put their heating on because of politicians who get their heating paid for them by the very people who can't afford to put their heating on! It's time to stop the expenses gravy train.

Absolutely disgraceful. An NHS doctor writing books for teenagers that justify stoning. What century are we living in? How can someone entrusted with children's welfare promote such barbaric ideas? The NHS should be demanding answers.

Earlier this month, I wrote about my time in Canada, the beautiful people I met and the wonderful farm where my son is now living and working. There was, however, a part of that story I didn't tell. Not because it wasn't important, but because it wasn't my story to tell. My son CJ’s best friend, Ash, is the reason he ended up in Canada in the first place, and why he is now on that farm. Their friendship has brought our families together, and I have come to care deeply about the people who have welcomed my boy into their lives. Ash is just 21 years old. Until a few months ago, he was fit, healthy, working hard, in love with his beautiful partner Sara, and looking forward to all the things young people should be looking forward to. Then, in July, he was diagnosed with Stage IV alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, an exceptionally rare and aggressive cancer that had already spread. I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to receive that news so young. Or what it must be like for his parents, his family and Sara, who is now expecting their baby. There is something particularly cruel about watching a young couple, just beginning to build their life together, having to face something so frightening. But there is also something extraordinary about the love surrounding them, and the determination with which Ash is facing his treatment. I've spent much of my life believing in the power of community, in people showing up for one another when life gets difficult. Sometimes that means offering a hand, sometimes a prayer, and sometimes, if we're fortunate enough to be able to, a little financial help. Ash's aunt Jody has now shared his story publicly and set up a fundraiser to help with the enormous costs of treatment, travel, specialist consultations and the everyday financial pressures facing this young family. I'm sharing it because Ash isn't just a name on a fundraising page. He's my son's best friend. He's part of the reason my boy has found a home and a life in Canada, thousands of miles from me. And for that alone, he and his family will always have a special place in my heart. If you can spare something, however small, I would be enormously grateful. If you can't, perhaps you could share his story. And if you're someone who prays, please keep Ash, Sara, their baby and the whole family in your prayers. Twenty is an age for making plans, falling in love and believing the whole world is ahead of you. I want Ash and Sara to have every possible chance to live those dreams. With love and gratitude. ❤️ Please donate here if you can gofundme.com/f/help-ash-fig…

🔥 Throwback to Nov 2025. EIGHT YEARS and @PoliceScotland’s Operation Stringent is STILL ongoing! Eight years of uncertainty, unanswered questions and no decision on criminal proceedings. How much longer must patients and families wait? #TheyDitherWeDie #Eljamel

A 36 year old man named Shaun Mckenna who violently raped a 13-year-old girl at a Highlands campsite, has been spared jail due to his life-limiting medical condition. He was diagnosed with the degenerative condition Huntington's Disease in 2022. The 13-year-old child was on holiday with her family in 2020. She was alone when he came in and pinned her down, lay on top of her, and raped her. The girl tried to fight him off, but he told her, "to stop crying and screaming as well as to shut up.” He said if she told anyone, “he would do it worse." McKenna also committed sex crimes against two other children before that. The judge said each offence on its own was a reason to go to jail, but did not feel prison would meet McKenna's specialised needs. He will instead be supervised at his care home in Kinross, where he is not allowed to leave on his own. This is beyond fucked up. Every man who rapes a child deserves to spend his life in prison

Disliking someone is human. Creating fake stories to destroy them is jealousy and a whole mental issue. Seek help, not attention.

Good call from John Cleese! Anyone who understates appalling psychological effects of rape is unsuited to the role of Rector at St Andrews University The Monty Python star knows a complete farce when he sees one @JohnCleese

As a former Rector of St Andrews University I respectfully urge its students not to support someone who tries to understate the appalling psychological effects of rape

When I was a student at St Andrews University, the late great Nicholas Parsons was Rector. He was approachable, diligent, and did a proper job; students could contact him, he turned up, and he took the role seriously without turning it into a platform for ideology. Now Q
