A simple note for using a system prompt with an AI agent: Place the most important output requirements at the end of the system prompt. If combining system prompt with external data, structure it as part 1 of the system prompt, external data, then part 2 of the system prompt.

I have the same issue. I tell @cursor_ai to do A and B, not C It works fine initially, following my instructions. But in the next two or three messages, it does C again or even an unwanted D! I think the agent should better follow my exact orders and respect "what I don’t say"
