I finally got around to playing Islanders. It's good. And looks great. I've been thinking a lot about minimal city building mechanics recently, and Islanders does that very well. Plus I do (obviously) have a soft spot for artsy island dioramas.

i’m not sure how i feel about “fake it til you make it”. most people who make it never stop faking it. that’s not a criticism. i just don’t think anyone ever really knows what they’re doing.
