@KidDocRach Opportunity for negotiable start date? Option for starting part time until after boards then increasing to full time- I did this, was glad I did since I didn’t get to study much before residency grad. Schedule flexibility- 4 longer days/week vs normal hours 5 days/week?
@KidDocRach (I’m assuming you’re interviewing for outpatient Peds but ignore the non-pertinent ones if not!) CME time? CME funds? Sick time different than vacation time? How/who decides if your schedule needs to be changed? (Ie days/times you’re in clinic).
@KidDocRach How long are appt slots? Do you have the ability to add in extra time for certain patients if needed? Are you expected to double book? Maternity leave? Do they slowly increase your patient load over time or expect you to see a certain number per day fairly quickly?
