The Ames Downtown Farmers Market starts today. I’ll be there balloon busking again this year to add to the fun.

Headed to Champps in West Des Moines. Hard to believe I’ve been doing magic there for a decade.

Spring is in the air. Cold & rainy. We're off to Storm Lake for some shows today & tomorrow.

New balloon requests from kids @ Champps tonight. A goat with a red nose & a pig with antlers. Successful on both counts. I love my job.

Sunday night means tableside magic at Felix& Oscars in West Des Moines. If you haven't tried the pizza at F&Os you owe it to yourself to go.

Tableside close up magic at Champps in West Des Moines tonight. Lots of new folks coming in the last few weeks to enjoy the fun.

Sometimes hard to believe that for 5 years Sunday is magic night at Felix and Oscars west. Still the best pizza in DSM.

Magic @F&Os last night. What fun! Found out for a 4-year-old magic is Peek-a-Boo on steroids! The home game will never be the same again.

Tuesday is magic night at Champps in West Des Moines.

Magic night @F&Os.

Who says it's all work? Lucas Co. Fair, Annie & I having pit BBQ lamb with gooseberry pie & strawberry rhubarb pie for lunch. Yum, yum!

ow.ly/i/O6mY Interstate 80 in Nebraska. No wonder we haven't seen many cattle.

ow.ly/i/LKi3 Working the shelby county fair. This is the view out our front door.

Overheard from 2 baristas @Starbucks: "Are you, like 80 or something? Old people love happy hour, especially in places like Palm Springs."

Had a new balloon request tonight ... a Thor's hammer. I made it & the kid immediately bonked his mom on the head with it. It's a boy thing.

It's Sunday, the weather's cooled off a few degrees & I'm at F&Os in West Des Moines doing magic.

Magic at Felix & Oscar's in West Des Moines tonight. Great pizza, fun magic, and AIR CONDITIONING!

I'll be at the farmers market this morning doing balloon sculptures until noon.
