@kevinokeefe @WAStateBar Exactly! Item 3 is in Claude’s words from a talk I gave to the Hearing Examiners Association of Washington on Friday. After a long discourse (62 slides) I asked Claude what it would say. And it hit in this precise point.

@SellersCounsel Happy to chat. And I’d be honest about my failures and lessons learned. Those lessons contributed more to my eventual success than innate talent or intelligence ever did.

@zackbshapiro Same boat here and same sentiment (as a small firm that has implemented Clio for almost a decade). I have zero interest in another product layered on top of the ones we use now (Claude, Copilot for certain tasks, Everlaw’s offering in some instances).

@BenStoeger187 Seems like the HD comp works better than the older XC comp? My C4X is my favorite pistol right now. More engaging, can’t get lazy with it and shoot it well so I have to pay attention to my grip and things. But returns to zero so well and just, fun to shoot

@The_Weatherman2 Issue isn’t at altitude. Issue is surface winds in event of an ejection, too high and chute will drag the individual.

@gunpolicy You are missing the key point. The defense missed the deadline to respond to Requests for Admissions. Big whoopsie. They are deemed admitted and that can often make a plaintiff’s case. The defense filed a motion to undo the whoopsie. Judge: “Nope!” Not about briefing schedule.

@GarandThumb1 Put a 300 blk barrel in the upper and go with Discrete Ballistics 188 gr subs. Nasty stuff. Save your hearing, be stealthy. Duh. Or Underwood .223 Controlled Chaos.

@MorosKostas Kavanaugh has authored only 4 opinions this term. 4 left. Roberts will write birthright. That puts all others at 6-7 opinions. My pure speculation? Kavanaugh is working on the PC opinion. I mean, someone has to write it even if no one signs it.

@MorosKostas Per curiam is the price paid for the compromise to not take Snope last term. Believe!

@MorosKostas @ppatterson85 I’ll send you an update on that analysis I sent you the other day. It concludes per curiam is likely. For what it is worth, I don’t thing it necessarily needs to be per curiam/GVR. Right? And maybe the fact they already GVR’d Duncan will motivate them to just get it done?

@MorosKostas I’m still saying GVR or per curiam after Wolford/Hemani. Re-read Snope the other day. Pretty strong positions by several justices to just deny at this point.

@jtwilcox111 @stevemgordon67 @FreemanWSJ Buddy just sold his house and is moving out of state. Other friends are doing the same. Professionals, mid career. Kids still in the school system. Business owners. I get it. Lack of safety. Not seeing results on what is being spent. And somehow being seen as the enemy.
