Maybe twenty years or so of watching tech bro mentality fuck up every quadrant of US society has us all feeling a little tired of "disruption" and promises of tech that never really seem to deliver anything except the enshittifcation of industry after industry after industry.

@DrewMcWeeny As someone said in the replies, the idea is fine in theory but if you know the software and product aren't up to snuff...why are you releasing it for $700 plus a monthly subscription lmfao
@DrewMcWeeny I am incredibly happy to report I have no idea what humane is and what the product was. That makes me optimistic for my future.
@DrewMcWeeny It feels at times like more of a secular religion or personality cult. The technology didn't fail us, we failed it! I always thought TED Talks gave off a Rick Warren/Joel Osteen vibe. Like Silicon Valley looked at megachurches ca. 2003 & said let's have some of that.
@DrewMcWeeny I'm tired of the tech and finance bros working hand in glove to make this a worse country and world. Completely exhausted.
@DrewMcWeeny And they claim it’s to advance society but it’s really 95% greed and ego
