It was my junior year in APUSH when I learned the truth about the fruit Dole company and how Hawaii lost Queen Liliuokalani to fruit tycoons Sanford and James Dole. They led a coup against her. Even down to a fruit company, this country is evil.

I learned recently that house music is rooted in gospel music. A lot of the pioneers of the genre was isolated from the church but used elements from gospel to create house music records. That makes a lot of sense of the relief you feel after going to a house set.
