When you focus on a protein week, it is so tough to fast in the morning. You can try, but reaching your goal becomes so much harder. Fasting confusion this week. Remember, switching it up on your body is crucial for growth.
Met my goal of 180g yesterday. Notice when you eat high protein foods they are typically healthy and nutrient dense. Also, notice the satiety and diminished cravings. Good start!

I need to get to 180g of protein per day Monday-Friday.
1g of protein per desired body weight.

A common excuse I hear for people not losing weight when trying is: “I’m gaining muscle and losing fat.”
While it’s easy to make this make sense, if the scale isn’t moving you’re not making progress.
In order for this excuse to be true, you have to be in 10-20% body fat range.
Think of all the ROM your body allows you to do. If you don’t stretch and maintain these ranges you will lose them so fast as you age. In turn, you can say hello to arthritis and stiffness.
Stretch!
Do you want more money? Work on your figure.
Do you want more superiority? Work on your figure.
Do you want to attract the opposite sex?Work on your figure.
Do you want a better job?
When you respect your figure, everything else respects you. More opportunities will arise.
It is infuriating how the mainstream actually convinced people that eggs and meat are bad for you.
Good luck getting your protein in consistently without these food gems.
You don’t need to be perfect. Once you understand this it becomes easier. Everyone has a bad day/week sometimes.
You have to get back on the wagon, though. Jump back on. Your health literally depends on it.
Work until 65 and die 10-15 years later.
That’s what they want you to do. In that 15 years they want to drain all net worth back into the system.
How do they do this? Keep you sick and unhealthy. Don’t fall into this trap.
Be different. Do different. Live long and enjoy life.
I truly don’t understand where people think it’s cool or “you’re tough” if you don’t sleep.
This is about as ignorant as it comes. Sleep is so important and crucial for repair and recovery.
If you’re not sleeping 8 hours/night you’re aging and declining faster than you should.
When fasting, most people over eat in their window. A couple things to keep in mind.
1. Have a heavy protein lunch.
2. Have one full plate of whatever you’re having at dinner.
Just because you didn’t eat breakfast doesn’t mean you need 2nds or 3rds.
Don’t trick yourself.
The act of working out breaks you down. This isn’t where you build muscle. It’s where you shock the body and force recovery.
If you don’t re-fuel properly you’ll never peak. Growth is in the rest and recovery.
Start by 0.8-1g of protein/body weight and sleep 8 hours/night.
I’m not big into supplements. The only ones I keep around:
-Whey Protein
-BCAAs
-Creatine
-Electrolyte drink
-Fruit/veggie drink
Everything else can be taken care of with the proper diet and sunlight. Vitamin D does need to be supplemented in the winter, however.
