Fed up of marking? Developed a DIRT sticker for my department that covers all key areas of important feedback. Then made PowerPoint's to go with every unit of AQA Sci - Kids stick in sheet / choose individualised WWW & EBI targets from spec @MrsSingleton @pixlscience

What are your thoughts on homework? As a former International School Principal I was often pressured by parents to ensure teachers gave more homework, very much contrary to my beliefs. Does it benefit students? If so, what type of homework is suitable to promote learning?

An ever growing problem in education in the UK. There needs to be a seismic shift particularly in regard to administrative expectations across the teaching profession in the UK and give teachers the adequate time to effectively teach. Another reason to teach overseas!?!

Thoughts? I know when I was a Headteacher I felt like I was obsessed with ensuring all students could access meaningful and relevant lesson content, but why? It was to the detriment of my already hardworking teachers... Is it actually a losing battle?

The BBC says that depression is the biggest cause of ill health in teenagers around the world and in London alone teenage suicide has increased more than 4 times the UK national rate. We need to do more to protect and guide our youth.
