I gave my beloved Trail Gloves the green light for MCM37. I ran in them most of the summer, after two years in Kinvaras. No comparison.
Surprisingly pleasant run- cloudy and breeze along Potomac. Mt Vern trail Crystal City - gravelly field - humpback bridge - and back.
Gettin out winter gear for MCM36 tomorrow. Gonna be in the 30s! Good practice for RocknRoll marathon nxt March.
News trucks with antenna masts lined up near Washington Monument today looked like scene from War of the Worlds.

Ordered orange Kinvaras for MCM36 to stand out. RRS website had 2 left in my size. So much for standing out.

Very humid out. Ive run in worse humidity and heat but this is more oppressive. Maybe the air pressure.

Unable to duplicate the bizzare behaviour of my digital HR strap and FR405. Works perfectly now. Always happens when I'm near Natl mall.
Expensive useless strap totally ruininf long run. Train by pulse (Maffeltone).
Garmin "premium" chest strap two mo old is junk! My resting pulse is <50. But showing 210-240. New battery. Electrodes wet. Junk.
Haynes point loop closed due to flooded road, temp fencing extends to golf cpurse fence. Clearly means closed to everyone.
