That's right! Just because a bunch of programmers produced a hypothetical result in a lab is totally different than rolling it out into production and operations of real things that can kill people the physical real things like airplanes have strict requirements. The 737 Max fiasco proves the inadequacy of government oversight and the 394 people that died in commercial aircraft last year confirms that much more is to be accomplished. Flying is still complex and spaceflight even more so ... if the pace of AI needs to be slowed down because of quality escapes from aggressive development companies that's different ... it just means these companies need to quit taking shortcuts and start doing the hard work required.

It is factual to state that outside of Sen. Fetterman and a few others not a single national Democrat leader has voiced their opposition to the wrath of illegal aliens, the horrendous fraud in Medicare and its >$100B impact on everyday Americans, the conspiracy to overthrow the President, the threat of socialism to our Constitution, protection of criminals and the death march of fentanyl, adversary to ICE and other law enforcement officers, adversary to our men and women in uniform, deaths of thousands on the streets of blue cities, monetary aid to our enemies through non-government agencies, rigged elections and illegal voting ... it's never been this bad! The American people will remember all of these including the lack of empathy and sometimes support of the evil perpetrators from many democratic leaders on the death of Charlie Kirk, the multiple missed assassination attempts on our President and the Islamic terror during 911. These leaders will never renounce these horrible evil things because they are as dark and evil as these actions. I hope they prove me wrong! They love the division to the point of losing America. So, you're right everyone who is for these things and doesn't say so is against the American way ... a line has been drawn in the sand and these Democrats need to come back into the fold, repent and start helping the country again.

I remember the Pinto and so does Ford that was a turning point for the company ... capitalism works! QC is for all consumer products because it's a process of verifying requirements and protection of life is always a requirement. We were working AI specific requirements 10 years ago in DOW. The physical world that kills people is easy, but the "soft" things are tough (Re: psychological, deception, chaos, conspiracy). Anything that is a simulation or behaves like a simulation can be fully controlled by AI. This is what is really scary. There are plenty of really smart people in the basement of the Pentagon that study these things. Not sure about the environmental concerns, but the democrats have single handedly cost this country 100's of billions in Medicare & FEMA fraud, contract fraud, independent agency fraud and sold out our country to foreign enemies. They don't care about the American people and this latest HOAX is intended to pretend they care. They don't they just want power back. So, unless you believe that life is a simulation the engineers will control the destiny of its application and QC will keep it between the white lines. If lane control and collision avoidance is any indicator it's gonna be a long slog with excellent results!

Time to throw out the powerful and responsible Democrats like you that have sat around for years watching Medicare fraud, illegal aliens pour into the country, facilitating fentanyl deaths, conspiracy to remove a sitting President, racketeering, promoters of criminals, lying and cheating at the polls and the continued sellout of the American people ... despicable!

In the engineering world these guardrails already exist. It's called Quality Control and anyone insured by a major carrier is required to have it in place. These standards have been worked out over decades of development and safe deployment. All the consumer machines that can cause your death are controlled by detailed Quality Control standards including testing and verification requirements. These few cases of rouge AI were test cases not yet released into the public. We don't want talking heads becoming engineers!

@SquawkCNBC Markets don't have an inflation "number." It's simple supply and demand. Right now there's more demand for stocks than there is for bonds .... period end of story! This movement of money will be self correcting WITHOUT the Fed's measly 0.25% bump!

You need relevance. There's NOTHING proven! This is what everyone is missing about AI ... the interfaces with physical systems like automobiles are controlled by certified safety redundant firmware. The 35 unproven cases primarily involve psychological claims ... it's not like fentanyl deaths! We had ~394 commercial airline deaths last year. Let's tackle this one first! This is an election year HOAX that's DOA. Obama is losing his edge ... Nobody that would vote crazy liberal cares about AI and the independents see right through this as another COVID hype.

I'm not aware of any deaths resulting from AI yet, but all the aforementioned has brought the worst loss of life ever seen! You might need to reveal some of the work at DOW, DOE and other research organizations that have been working these AI concerns for decades to calm everyone down.

And so will these government proposals, laws and regulations be enforced like Medicare fraud, lying to Congress, conspiracy, racketeering, immigration, crime, drug trafficking that have been ignored for decades? I'm not aware of any deaths resulting from AI yet, but all the aforementioned has brought the worst loss of life ever seen! A true President "leads" with wisdom. I trust the engineers developing the systems and the last thing they need are politicians helping them after a purposefully designed system misbehaves as expected. Engineers will design redundancy in their systems to avoid off-nominal operations. Existing liability laws will be the forcing function ... what's going on right now is a COVID like hysteria....

Dude, it's easier to vote than it is to buy beer or cash a check!!! Even easier to channel federal money to Somalia. Quit cheating the system and the American people. True it's a tiny setback, but truth and light is coming to this country and you can't stop it. When you're long gone you'll be heart broken over the way you dishonored your life by following the darkness.
