We ENGENEs are happy for Heeseung and proud of him, especially seeing that he’s apparently been happy these past few days. And honestly, I wouldn’t expect any other reaction from him besides this, considering that he just achieved one of his biggest and most desired dreams: releasing his own solo album.
But please, don’t take this situation out of its true context.
If Heeseung didn’t seem happy before, that doesn’t mean he was unhappy being in ENHYPEN. Never dare to say that knowing how much he dedicated himself to being in that group and how hard he worked for six years as a member of it. If he didn’t seem happy before, there are many other factors that need to be taken into consideration.
There’s the overload of ENHYPEN’s schedule and, after that, everything he had to face after “leaving” the group. Don’t forget everything that’s happened since march. The pressure, the hate, the protests, the uncertainties and, perhaps the worst part of all, the fact that he had to give up being in the group to which he dedicated so many years of his life in order to finally be able to release his solo album.
I’m sure that Heeseung didn’t want things to happen this way. And in fact, he didn’t, because he always made it clear that he wanted to release his solo while he was still a member of ENHYPEN. So, we can’t simply look at how happy he seems now and conclude that he’s happier because he left ENHYPEN.
It’s not necessarily about being outside of ENHYPEN. It’s about him finally being able to achieve the dream he wanted so much, after everything that happened. He released the album he wanted to release and managed to complete something he’d been working toward for such a long time. Besides that, there’s the possibility that he may have already received good news about his future, including the possibility of returning to ENHYPEN after his album promotions and the group’s promotions are over.
And that’s exactly where one of the most frustrating parts of this whole situation lies. Why, instead of taking him out of the group, did they not simply announce a hiatus? Why couldn’t he have had the necessary time to focus on his solo album and then return to the group?
Maybe that wasn’t even possible because of the absurd schedule and the amount of commitments ENHYPEN constantly has. And if that really was the case, that only makes everything even more concerning, because it becomes yet another proof of how much the company overworks its artists to the point that there’s no room for a member to develop other projects without having to completely step away from the group.
An artist shouldn’t have to leave the group they dedicated years of their life to simply because they want to do something different from the schedule established for ENHYPEN. Heeseung should’ve had the opportunity to focus on his solo album, achieve this dream and, when he was ready, return to the group without everything having to happen the way it did.
Without so many fights within the fandom. Without so much pain. Without everything that ended up escalating into situations and tragedies that should never have happened.
Was all of this really necessary? Because I can’t get it out of my head that a simple hiatus would’ve been a much better choice than that badly made announcement about his departure. And if a hiatus wasn’t possible precisely because ENHYPEN’s schedule didn’t allow Heeseung to have time to work on his own project, then that alone already says a lot about how much this company overworks its artists.
In the end, I just hope that people don’t look at his happiness now and think that this means he’s better off without ENHYPEN. Maybe he’s simply happy because he finally managed to achieve his dream, because that whole situation that had been weighing on him is finally starting to be left behind and because there’s a possibility that he may already know that he’ll still have a place alongside the boys in the future. To me, that’s a very important difference.
I’m honestly so scared to commit a sin or do anything wrong after learning about Surah Al-Mursalat
It gave me chills. I couldn’t even sleep properly
Do you know that in this Surah, Allah repeats this verse 10 times?
i really don't understand one thing that is, if hs departure was planned with long mutual decision why did he film all of the en-o'clock eps? even belift released 12th march en-o'clock teaser on 6th march knowing damn well that hs will leave on march 10th?
aku bener-bener merinding bacanyaa..
maksudku, peristiwa gunung meletus & erupsi ini berbarengan semua loh timelinenya.. terus bencana lain kayak banjir.. dan kebakaran hutan karena ulah manusia itu sendiri. . :(
aku keinget sama surat ini di alquran,
"𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗸 𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗶 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗶 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮; 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗸𝗶 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶 (𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗯𝗮𝘁) 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗮, 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗸𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗶 (𝗸𝗲 𝗷𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿)."
(QS. Ar-Rum 30: Ayat 41)
I don’t even mean this in a malicious or shady way but I really do think a lot of people need to disengage with fandoms or stan culture because it’s just not healthy to constantly be mad at everyone and everything
