I mean, sure I was ugly as hell and blocked views of the Ferry Building and waterfront, but... I... ah... crap.
If nowhere was downtown, Chinatown, and North Beach, then I went nowhere!
Man, it's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since they started tearing me down.

Either that or left one single section of me standing in mid-air as a reminder of what horrible design and urban planning can give birth to.
I'm quite convinced they should have opened me to skateboarders and joggers (yes, yoggers) after the earthquake.
So progress on the T-line extension subway is moving along nicely. I'm wondering if they'll re-use the TBM for a B-Geary subway next...
