@ellieemaecox Literally no situation that can't be improved by a Taylor Swift song

Can't believe the Mets statement on what the did at Clapham Common boils down to "You made us do it." No surprise they have let down victims of abuse. #arrestyourown independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…

This is rapidly transforming from a public relations nightmare into a public relations catastrophe. Absolutely indefensible behaviour and whoever at the Metropolitan Police authorised this violent response needs to be fired.

The closer we get to the end of the term the more angry I get at the impossible standards uni students are held to, and the more burnt out those standards make me feel - would love if uni could recognise that we’re struggling too, not just lecturers #justunistudentthings

The briefing was a fuck you to uni students, the whole way along the govt have set us up as scapegoats. I'm constantly trying to guess what they want, while they give next to no guidance so we can be blamed for breaking rules we weren't told about in the first place #university

@Josh_Rendall @jridnell @RBKC @Lonbookproject All this other work is great, but the original tweet is about the Christmas Box Project - which you (and the council) are not directly involved with organising. Please give credit where it's due - to volunteers and charities. I am surprised at the council trying to take credit.

To all the TERFs currently celebrating the fact that trans kids will no longer be able to get puberty blockers and posting uniformed comments about Mermaids - Trans kids will still exist. They’ll now just suffer more. You are celebrating kids suffering, you ghouls! 😞

I’m so angry. I’m from London. I had to get my A-level results by email. Before schools shut numbers at my sixth form dwindled day by day because another bunch of people weren’t coming to school anymore because their parents had said it was too dangerous. You should be scared.

@sirussly The fact that behaving toxic because of “fear” is seen as something to be sympathized with... like “hey, I’m going to treat you like absolute garbage because I’m scared.” “Oh my poor baby, that’s totally understandable!” EXCUSE ME, WHAT!?!?!?

@MoggMentum 16 year olds can: Drink (with a full meal); choose what form of education they are in (Sixth Form, apprenticeship, a job, etc.); and get married with parental permission. For the rest, 17 yr olds can do pretty much all of them. How about we let 17 yr olds vote and go from there?
