💔💔 “Every day, all across the country, mothers are clinging to their homes, and their children, telling them everything will be OK, even when it is far from clear when they will be able to return to work, or when this will all be over.” @fpnational @brycecovert @newrepublic
“If the CDC’s moratorium expires on March 31, millions could abruptly lose their homes.” #HousingHeroes ✍️: @brycecovert | @newrepublic newrepublic.com/article/161578…
@fpnational @brycecovert @newrepublic Unacceptable! We must do better!
It is hard to describe sometimes what is that special something about @fpnational Affiliates. This shows it--the heartfelt appreciation of the people we serve & the joy in sharing it of the amazing Affiliate staff. #community #familyhomelessness #hope
Shout-out to our Director of Programs, Mel, who received this adorable card from a family she was able to help get into their new home! Great work Mel!!
GREAT news! President @JoeBiden makes funding for non-congregate sheltering of people who are homeless 100% reimbursable! Currently FEMA pays 75% & states/cities have to pay rest (& often can’t). We’ve pushed for this for 10 months. whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/…

The new relief bill will prevent unnecessary damage only until January 31st. It’s time we start addressing the eviction crisis from a long-term perspective. #HousingHeroes ✍️: @jepassy / @MarketWatch marketwatch.com/story/this-is-…
We’re all better off when we live in communities that work together to solve problems. No one wants to see people forced to live on the streets—not businesses, not residents, and not people experiencing #homelessness. Here are the top five harmful effects of criminalization:
The president has *finally* signed the Covid relief bill. Here’s a reminder of why it matters for renters. So much work still to do, but this bill is an essential first step.
🚨🚨WE HAVE A DEAL! 🚨🚨 It includes: ✅ CDC eviction moratorium extended through Jan 31! ✅ $25 BILLION in emergency rental assistance! ✅ Extended deadline for spending CRF rental assistance $! ❗️THANK U FOR YOUR ADVOCACY❗️ Let’s get it enacted ASAP!

"Tonight is the longest night of the year in the richest country in the world. More than 10 million people are without housing or on the brink of homelessness, while more than 18 million homes stand vacant across the country." - @UniteThePoor #PoorPeoplesCampaign
