And I can’t stop thinking about it. It was such an amazing example to set for their kids and it’s just wild the impact one interaction with a stranger can have on you. This world terrifies me most of the time but in that moment it felt safe and I felt accepted.

What if we all took out personal loans to pay off our student loans and then filed for bankruptcy, plummeting credit scores & disrupting the credit system so they had to bail everybody out & put our credit scores at 700 so ppl could buy things or get rid of credit all together

The Glastonbury crowd filling in for Lewis Capaldi when he needed help was such a beautiful moment. Anyone saying “it was heartbreaking” or “he shouldn’t have gone on” is seriously missing the point. Disability is not a bad thing to be hidden. It exists alongside success and joy.

It just clicked for me why a lot of disabled ppl rolled up our sleeves and said "what's next" while nondisabled ppl couldn't stop trying to "go back". Many disabled folks have had to adjust -- sometimes repeatedly -- to a new normal without the option to "get back" to an old one.
