Matt Suhey passed away yesterday. He was my dad’s closest friend. After we lost my dad in 1999, Matt became the biggest father figure I had. When everything felt uncertain, he was there. My dad left him in charge and Matt never let that responsibility sit lightly. He protected our family. He looked after us. He made sure we were okay, year after year, without ever making it about himself. That is who he was. Their friendship showed me what real friendship looks like. Not the easy kind. The kind that lasts when the lights go off, when the stadium is empty, when life gets heavy. Brian’s Song told the story of Piccolo and Sayers. Somebody needs to tell the story of 34 and 26. Two men who trusted each other completely. Two men who became brothers. I know @walterpayton was standing there waiting for him the second he got to heaven. I can see it. That smile. That hug. That reunion they both deserved. Our family is so thankful for the love he showed us over the years. The Payton family will continue to lift Donna, Joey, Allison, and Scotty up in prayer during this difficult time. Rest easy, Uncle Matt. We love you. We always will. 🙏🏽🐻⬇️ #Bears

On this exact day in 1776, our Founding Fathers took the ultimate leap of faith and officially voted to break free from British tyranny. We usually focus on the fireworks of the 4th, but today is the true anniversary of our legal independence. Men like John Adams risked everything—their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor—to vote for a nation rooted in liberty and self-governance. They didn't just wish for freedom; they stood up, defied an empire, and built the greatest country on Earth. Let’s remember the profound courage it took to create this exceptional nation and pledge to protect the timeless principles they fought to secure. Can we keep the republic as the founders intended for another 250 years? 💬🇺🇸#July2nd #FoundingFathers #AmericanExceptionalism #GodBlessAmerica #Patriotism

World Cup 2026 has been exactly what the US needed, a patriotic infusion heading into our 250th Celebration! “It was going to flop. Nobody would come. They’ll be giving tickets away. Everybody hates Trump.” In reality, America, this is the US.💪🇺🇸🔥

I didn’t know Charlie Kirk. I spoke to him maybe 4 or 5 times. Even so, this has all felt so intensely personal…as I’m sure it has for many of you. Most of us never shook the man’s hand or sat at a table with him…but somehow, he still felt like a friend to millions. He gave a home to so many people who felt like outcasts because of their opinions. He spoke for so many people whose own voices would otherwise never be heard. He was a father and a husband and a commentator…but he was also a symbol. For free speech, civil discord, country and faith. Don’t feel strange because this is hitting you in a deeper place than you would have expected. This one feels different because it IS different. He wasn’t a president or a politician. He was just a man with a voice and no fear of using it. That’s why this feels so familiar. He represented who many people ARE…and who even more aspire to be. Don’t respond out of anger or with violence…instead, move forward with grace and with logic. As he did for so many years.
