Why did you not create resources for education, volunteer or jobs for those who fell into the buckets? The requirements are NOT unattainable? Why do you not pass bills that would help get people off the system with better income opportunities? You could have partnered with ALL the non-profits and businessss to identify gaps everywhere. Access to volunteer or jobs or education resources would be a win for all parties and the economy. instead this feels like you care NOTHING about really helping those in need. we have a law that had over 10-15 years to implement. The REAL Id. your license is required to be a Real Id YOU CAN NOT BOARD A PLANE OR ENTER A FED BLDG WITHOUT IT. There should be very few without one u if each state is not in violation of that bill. All you have to do is show ur real ID license. pretty simple. Stop twisting things. It is not the truth.

@GovNedLamont You are not addressing what changes have been done to ensure the the voter list has been verified. The enacted the Driver only license that allows an id with expired or missing identity verification. You have a process exactly like NJ. Everyone getting a license gets registered to vote. Seyo is perfect example. There are significant gaps in that license process that makes it simple to get around. Audits of the micro ssd have not been posted since about 2000.

Exactly!! Check our budget. And take a look at Refugee Cash and Refugee Medical. Numbers are >2-3k served in CT. large growth spurt from 700 a few years ago. There are 24 programs at the Federal level. Office of Refugee Resettlement.(ORR) Gets passed to states supposedly has criteria to be eligible. I wonder if all border crossers were designated 'refugees'. This is crazy. What about our homeless? What about our veterans? Turn the damn office into a homeless program. When all OUR citizens have basic needs, then we can help others.
