@Kasparov63 When I was in Eastern Europe I was surprised at how many people had this Old World view of America. "The streets are paved with gold" kind of idea. Some, fascinated about our country, would ask me many questions, and they left the conversation uneasy and disappointed.

The ignorance about farmers taking losses on crops is astounding. Most of these crops like soy, sorghum, corn are subsidized against losses and have been for decades. It's why farmers choose to grow them - it's a safe bet.The real loss is to taxpayers and by way of trade deficit

All this talk about Russia invading NATO makes little sense to me. Why would they do that before taking Moldova, a non-EU non-NATO state that Russia has a military base in? Look - they can't even take Pokrovsk, Ukraine despite surrounding it with 100k personnel.

@ML3democrats Reminder that Obama cut the SS COLA for 3 years straight, reduced snap benefits, maintained Afghanistan for 8 years, oversaw more tarp bailouts for wall street. Expanded and solidified Bush Era tax cuts. All of this with a Democrat trifecta and Senate supermajority.

@mehdirhasan All Democrats have to do at this point to get elected is not be Republicans. So many of their votes are from negative partisan politics. This means that the worse the GOP gets, the less the Democrats have to do to get elected. They don't have to rock the boat. You see it now 🥴
