Instead of micromanaging, you should be training and testing. Give people your thoughts on how they might approach their decisions, but don't dictate to them. The most useful thing you can do is to get in sync with them, exploring how they are doing things and why. (3/3)

An idea I've changed my mind on in last 12 months: Clear thinking is a byproduct. If I have a problem and try to think clearly - minimal clear thinking happens If I have a problem and I write, draw or talk to someone - a tonne of clear thinking happens.

It seems to me as though you have to take an extreme stance in order to belong these days. People are so desperate to belong so they go ahead with it. This is deeply unfortunate considering wisdom is usually not found at the extremes, but at the integration of perspectives.
