The amazing Miss Cole Guided us around Sachsenhausen concentration camp and taught us loads about the camp history. Some free time in potsdamerplatz now for shopping and lunch.

On our walking tour we learned about the Reichstag, Brandenurg Gate, the fall of the Berlin wall and successful attempts to cross it, Checkpoint Charlie, and the memorial to murdered Jews. Back at the accommodation now and resting for tomorrow.

Only a few hours to go! We are so excited. Please be at school by 4am and register with your teacher before putting your stuff on the coach. Please pack plenty of warm layers. It's looking to be quite cold in Berlin.

9 days to go until our year 11 history trip to Berlin! If possible, please attend the info evening in the Mayhew Theatre at 6pm on Tues 14th Jan, and bring your passports and GHIC cards along.
