Know where every vehicle is and how far it travelled. Fleet management with an AI assistant you ask in plain language.vecttra.com worldwideJoined August 2026
@fleetowner Good to see decisions backed by real operating data. The catch for smaller fleets: it only works when nobody has to type it in. Manual logs tend to break down in the busiest month of the year.
@TransportTopics@MichaelVFreeze@TRUCKINGdotORG@TMC4Trucks Makes sense for big fleets. For smaller ones the first step is more basic: knowing how many miles each vehicle has done since its last service. Most still get that number from someone reading the odometer.
@fleetowner Human oversight is the right call. For a 10-vehicle fleet, the real test is simple: can the manager check where the AI got its answer? If not, they go back to the spreadsheet.
What Vecttra does not do, stated plainly:
No maintenance cost history.
No failure prediction.
No parts or workshop management.
It tracks the service intervals you define and shows which vehicles are due. For a fleet of 5 to 50, that is usually the piece that is missing.
Questions a fleet manager should not need to build a report to answer:
Which vehicles are due for maintenance?
Which travelled the most kilometres this month?
Which drivers completed the most trips?
Which vehicles have been inactive?
In Vecttra you ask the assistant.
Vecttra records kilometres from the trips drivers are already running, so the number the interval depends on arrives with the work instead of as a task somebody has to remember.

Then a busy month arrives, the readings stop being updated, and the schedule quietly starts describing a fleet that no longer exists.
That is a design problem, not a discipline problem.
A small fleet rarely loses a vehicle to a maintenance system that failed.
It loses it to a service that was due three thousand kilometres ago and nobody noticed.
Fleet software adoption fails on the driver side first.
If logging a trip takes more than a couple of taps, it will not happen on a bad day.
And a bad day is exactly when you want the record.
What is Vecttra?
Vecttra is fleet management software with an AI assistant.
Your drivers' phones log every trip. Vecttra turns that into live location, real cost per vehicle, and answers you can ask for in plain language.
