Insight1 #Bermigo doesn’t require a peace deal between the countries. Insight2 Democratic countries have never made real war on each other. Insight3 It’s a costly and moral problem for the USA and the world. So what’s the plan? Are you interested?

Miller predicted more attacks on #Israel. 'Israel will respond with lethal force' he said. “Investors will flee #Palestine, which destitute and embittered will continue to join #militias.” We tested his alternate model, #Bermigo. It’s the only one that worked. Then he died!

Conventional peace models of direct deals between Israel and Palestine won’t work. in every survey ever taken over decades at least 30% of Palestinians refuse any deal signed between Israel and Palestine. He defined the cycle of violence 10 years ago.

Is it time to bring back the #Bermigo Plan to end #Palestine_Israel conflict? Architect Dovis Miller spent a decade analysing, designing and testing a plan that bypassed all the problems of every other solution. It’s brilliantly elegant and cost effective.

Fascinating find by a biologist I admire, Michael Levin

Ever wonder what the hair whorl patterns on a lion's belly look like close-up? Well here it is. Amazing old book on the direction of hair whorls - some fascinating data here with many implications for development.

@ChrisAldrich @drmichaellevin Apologies. Thank you for clarifying that.

@drmichaellevin @cybsoc Both a cell and a person might say (if they knew and could) that #cybernetics is "How I live and get things done." We observe each is 'reading' and interpreting selected aspects seeing cues and #signals in relation to intended outcomes (feedback). It's all bout #meaning too.

@drmichaellevin Yes, I used several like this in @cybsoc. It's more a description of an application than the core of #cybernetics. It helps to ask whether we are considering our observation of what we see happening or an agent's....

@ChrisAldrich I do not see a proper definition for #cybernetics in Shannon's paper, @ChrisAldrich. #NorbertWiener's (half-cited and the one most common) has problems. It misses the aspect of self-control and ignores all the life forms. He was better with machines than life

@drmichaellevin I think the key aspect is self-control. Self-control can however be extended to the eco-systems, the designed devices that operate according to the cybernetic strategy embedded in them by their designer

@TedPavlic @drmichaellevin I agree. I have been arguing at the Cybernetics Society that a fundamental misunderstanding inside and outside cybernetics itself was part of the story. Members also went where funding was, so they used ideas but inside the language and organization of their former disciplines
